Does anyone know what a remote pilot operator does?
January 22nd, 2009 | by admin |I found a job on monster called a remote pilot operator. The description wasn’t very clear but it sounds to me its a person used to train controllers. The remote pilot operator responds to the controllers as a pilot would and simulates corresponding aircraft movement.
I’ve seen atc training stations before, they are computers with complex software with voice recognition, isn’t that how the training is done? I guess my real question is: Is this a real job or some made up scam job?
If it is real, does anyone know what the pay is like?

For targets and radar work among other things most people who do that have time in the original aircraftor at least were former military pilotsnavs.
