Is it safe to leave a computer in the trunk of a car for a long period of time–24 hours.

February 25th, 2009 | by admin |

I’m sending my car up north via train. And I would like to pack some things in there to help with the move. So I was wondering if I could pack my computer in a box with bubble wrap and peanuts and put it in the trunk. Everything inside is pretty secure, and I’ll have it strapped to the floor of the trunk. Thus, I’m really just worried about the heat. But when I think about it, computer companies, such as dell, do it all the time tho, they send their computers with 3 days delivery schedules. So I don’t know.

Thank you in advance for your answers.
